I enjoyed reading about the Monster Sound Show, Matt. good job!

I never had the chance to see either of the two previous shows, as my 1st trip was in '99. I find it odd that the two previous shows sound like superior attractions to the dreadful Sounds Dangerous, yet neither survived as long.

MSS- 89-97, 8 years
ABC Sound Studio - 97-99, 2 years
Sounds Dangerous - 99-09, 10 years

It's like Sounds Dangerous is the cockroach of the Studios attractions. It will be around after nuclear war, and the surviving tribes will worship Drew Carrey as their god.

Thanks for reading the article ;)

As for Sounds Dangerous, now that it's seasonal, I think it has "one foot in the grave", so to speak. When the economy bounces back and Disney starts green lighting some projects, I could see Sounds Dangerous being an easy fit to be changed, especially now that Drew works for CBS (Price is Right).

I agree. Sounds Dangerous is on it's way to extinction. I mean Timekeeper at MK was 5 times the attraction Sounds Dangerous is, and it's been replace by a, admittedly funny, but not as good as TK, Monsters Inc Attraction. I think now is time to place your bets on how long SD will last. I say a year and a half before it closes completely.

Are you suggesting they make a new attraction or update the concept?
