Ticket vending machines, similar to those recently installed at the Disney water parks, are being tested at the Magic Kingdom now through February 2004. Two machines are located at the Ticket and Transportation Center, and two are located at Guest Relations at the Magic Kingdom. The machines will sell both multi-day and single day tickets, and will fulfill "will call" orders, such as special event tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Tickets at these machines may be purchased by credit cards and WDW Resort IDs only.

Wow, something new by Disney. Hopefully this system will shorten the wait in line to get your park tickets. It usually is a wait of an hour at the Magic Kingdom.

We always get ours from the resort we are staying at. It saves us lots of time so we aren't staring at Main Street U.S.A. for an hour or so.

I buy mine from the resort I stay at as well, as there's usually a desk at any hotel selling tickets. Of course nowadays, you can buy them online 8)

Well, he probably isn't a Disney nerd like we all are. Most of us know all the tricks of the trade because we care so much about WDW and it's surroundings.

I always pick up an extra set or two of the maps/world updates to pass along to those who haven't been and are interested.
