Hello!
I am new here, and I wanted to ask a question.

Many years ago, (1994-1995) I think, the Backstage pass attraction (now closed) was really the Backstage Studio Tour, PART #2). YOu would unload the tram, and follow Roger Rabbits foot prints to the second part of the tour.

Well in that tour, you would see the soundstages, but them move on, to a part where you see behind the scenes, a bunch of production rooms, where they are working on editing video, creating graphics for productions, see audio rooms, mixing rooms, a bunch of COOL stuff. They removed this off the tour not long after that, and after the soundstages you were detoured to somewhere else.
But does anyone know if there is any way to see this again? Maybe a paid behind the scenes tour? I would really like to see this again! It was really neat! Let me know!
Thanks

First of all, welcome to MGMStudios.org goofyfordisney!

As to your question, I know there is no way to see any of that as part of your regular theme park admission. However, I do know there is a behind the scenes tour available(for extra $$) where you may be able to see it. I'm sure someone with more information will post in a bit.

The only tour I have taken so daf is the Backstage Magic Tour (EPCOT, MGM, MK) At MGM the only restricted area we went into at that time was the wardrobe area, whcih you can see from the trams. That was this past May.

Not sure about the others.

Umm...no  I just meant that there is a backstage tour that might have what you mentioned there.

Goofy, now that I think a little more about it, it souds like you are talking about the Basckstage Pass and the Animation Tour. Possibly getting the two mixed up. The Backstage Pass recents had Tool Time and the 101 Dalmations set in it. This month it will have the Haunted Mansion set.

I think I remember vaguely what you are talking about. The really long walking backstage tour was taken out for many reasons including things such as it was long, there weren't any water fountains and their weren't any restrooms. It was before I started at the Studios.

Disney Pricess! You are right.
Yes, it was long, and I remember th guide saying there are no water fountains.

I am not getting mixed up with animation tour!

It was part of the Backstage Studio Tour, after the tram part.
It was like "PART 2"

THE TOUR WAS SUPER LONG! I mean over 1 1/2 hours.

I wish they would have left it!
