Nice report via WDWMAGIC

MuppetVision 3D opened this morning after it's refurbishment. Great news for MuppetVision fans, no changes to the preshow or main show. Most importantly, the new projection system looks fantastic. The colors are vivid and bright, and the picture quality is superb. The theatre has brand new seat fabric and what feels (and smells) like new carpet. The long missing smoke blast from the edge of the screen is also back in action. The overhead fireworks were not working, but this may well have been a technical issue as the attraction was late opening (9:45am). The sponsor remains Kodak, on both the building exterior and in the pre-show. The pre-show contain some new surrounds on the overhead monitors (see photos below), and it also looks as though the video is now digital (there are some small digital artifacts on the video). Overall it has been a great refurbishment, the show is just how it has always been, just that bit fresher and better. Great job Disney!

The fireworks effect on the ceiling were not working either at the show I saw this morning.

Yeah, I'm not sure if the team working on the rehab knew they were supposed to REPAIR the attraction. . . .

Seriously, if I get one more text mentioning another problem, I'm going to scream.

Im glad to see this get the refurb it needed. Is a wonderful, classic attraction and when I saw it in March, I thought the film of the show looked a bit faded. Glad to hear all the positive reports

Anyone else notice that when Sweetums is in the theater at the end, he's also directing the firetruck in the film. . . at the same time.

There are still so many problems with this attraction right now it's not even funny. I say close it down, rehab it again and maybe this time it'll work out.

Yep, I noticed that last Friday. On a positive note, the fireworks were going off.
