A castmember was killed during the Share a Dream parade at the Magic Kingdom Wednesday afternoon. Here's the story!

The CM was playing Pluto....there are so many jokes that are there but I won't go there.....for now :santa:

As of 6pm tonight, Orange Co Sherriff as well as the Union Investigations have found it to be completely a random accident.

The drivers can't see out of the float. They rely on the music, sensors in the parade route and radio commands from the spotters, they go through a ton of training to get to drive. Even after all that, I'd still feel horrible if I had been the driver, even knowing it probably wasn't anything that I did :D

Those drivers do go through a program to get to drive those things. Ran into one during the parade section of the Backstage Magic tour last year. He let us know a lot more than I would have ever expected about his job.
