I'm not all that psyched about it because I don't have kids and am not into the Princess thing but I'm not a big fan of Toontown either. I'm hoping the new area will have some redeeming qualities for adults w/o kids. At the least, it might keep some of the crowds off Thunder & Splash....

You get to have a dining experience. In the Beast's (Or Prince Adam at this point?) ballroom. I'm there. I love this idea. It will be interesting to see how they do the "No queue for Dumbo" but I can also do without Pixie Hollow.
Professionals admit to the problem. Alcoholics claim they have no problem.

Again, I don't know how I feel about this. It's definitely looks like a girl's land to me (which is fine since they've got Pirates for the boys), but again, what does Disney have left over for people like me (i.e. people who dislike travel or who are otherwise unable to pay yet like being part of a show)?

Oh, and Indy...

I like it better than Mickey's Toon Town Fair, but yeah, it is quite girly.

I love the decision to go ahead with this expansion. If it ends up being as cool as the concept art looks, it could be really, really cool.

I say if, because the original American Idol Experience concept art looks nothing like it does today

The question I had about this expansion is how, logistically, it's going to work: Each princess interaction seems like it would take a good 10-15 minutes, if you're going to be making birthday cards, etc. and then having a meet/greet with some sort of presentation. Even if they can accommodate around 50, it still doesn't seem like it can move a lot of kids in a day. With their recent predilection for extra-pay events, I almost wonder if it would be an additional fee like the birthday parties or something.

The restaurant sounds good--sort of Lumiere's-like, from the DCL. Hopefully they'll find a way to re-theme the Barnstormer so they can keep it.

I believe I read the barnstormer will be retained and could have a circus theme so it could fit in with the new Dumbo area

No big loss, IMO. I've read that Mickey and Minnie will get a prominent presence on Main Street.

That would be interesting. I don't know though, since the circus area looks like it will carry over to the coaster.
