CBS had a report about food violations at WDW. They mentioned a problem at Brown Derby as well. You can see the report at http://cbsnewyork.co..._040205229.html (there's a video as well there).

Personally, I think its alot of nothing. 8 reports total in 2003 out of millions of meals is pretty good. Go look at the violations fast food places throughout the country accrue. No one is perfect and alot of the problems they cited were with seafood(i.e. clams) which have certain assumed risks when you eat them anywhere.

Just finally got that story to work. How negative was that report!?! 8 complaints is not bad at all. I could walk into McD right now and get 8 just around the counter/serving area alone.

Those were my thoughts on it too. We have how many millions of people eating here in a year, and only 8 complaints? How many of those people had too much heat, ate something new they weren't used to, then went on a ride, and got sick- then blamed it on "bad food"?

the one thing the story didn't point out is where the source of the problem was. ie: type of food or the way it is to be eaten (raw, etc.) I was looking for the Epcot Rat story as well but couldn't find it.

The German Pavilion racked up three critical health code violations, melon salad, sausage salad, macaroni salad and pork were all held at dangerous temperature.

I have eaten at Germany too many times to count this past year. EVERY time we were ther they had someone checking the temps every 20-30 mins. It was so often I noticed it and was happy to see it. I did once see them throw some stuff out.

I also don't expect Disney to be that perfect. They do come very close and better than any place I know.

Same here, it's my moms favorite place. I don't see how they had 3 violations?

The report had 'critical' and 'serious' on all the violations, was it the CBS crew or FL Health that put those titles on there? My guess is CBS.

Right, I'd guess CBS as well.

Well I know the "Turkey Legs" always seem popular in MK, but they don't appeal to me :?

Are they tasty?

I think I'll stick with my Dole Whip :)

I pass on the legs as well. I can't even stand to see people eat them.
