I personally love Brown Derby. I don't eat there a whole lot, because even with my discount it's not too cheap for a college student that works for Disney 
but it's great fun, and even if you only get to go once, do it, it's great!

We used to love it a lot more when they had the Piano Player - seemed to create more of an atmosphere. Even background music would make it better there now.
That said, we ate there in May (we usually do eat in there) and the food was very good.

My wife and I visit the Disney Parks several times a year. The Brown Derby is THE place to eat! We always get the cobb salad. The service is great and the food is great. The prices are not as bad as you would think. If you are going to MGM Studios, definately try The Brown Derby. You will not be dissapointed.

I don't think I've ever eaten at the Brown Derby either. I think my parents ate there b ack when it first opened and they hated it so it has been avoided at all costs since then, but perhaps someday I'll go.

Definately go if you haven't. My partner and I don't have a large dining budget when we're at WDW either, but we go to The Brown Derby and share a Cobb salad (believe me, the order's big enough!) and grapefruit cake. Makes a great lunch!

We do that with dinner as well, but also order an entree to split. I've always have excellent meals and service at the Brown Derby. I look forward to returning in a week to get my grapefruit cake fix.
