February NYC Meet

Hey all,

A friend of mine in the Disney community is planning a meet for Saturday, February 26th in NYC! We're planning on going to the new Disney Store in Times Square and having lunch at a nearby restaurant. Other events may be planned -- we already have a handful of people coming but want to see if more people might be interested!

Let me know if you're up for a meet!

I so wish I could go and be there for this (any excuse to visit New York). Let us know how the new store is!

Hi, everyone. My name's Jared, and I am the brave soul attempting to organize this meet. I have planned a few of these in the past. It's not easy, but the end result is certainly worthwhile.

As the date inches closer, we will start putting together a head count and making final plans. But for now, just post in the thread if you are interested in attending. I think this will be a wonderful event.

So somehow I never had a username here. Not sure how I managed to be a lurker on these boards for so long.

I hope to be able to go, it will depend on whether or not I need to work.

At last! People in NYC who are also Disney fans. I'm not the only one here.

February 26th is quite a long way away, and I'm not sure what I'm doing that day, but if i have the time for it, I just might make it.

Sounds like fun! But with the crazy weather and the LIRR changing their schedule every day this winter, we would have to wait until later in the year.

Oh cool!

I'm heading into the City for the D23 Member Mixer on 2/13 nd there is a Disney/Vinylmation meet on 2/19.

I would totally go to this one too, but I pushed stuff back to make the 2/19 meet. I think it's great there are a few NYV/NJ/tri-state meets!!!

We have been invited to do a private tour of the Disney Store at 11am. I have been in contact with the Dis Store prez's office, and they set it up for us.

Let us know if you can make it at 11am!

I am helping to get a final head count for the meet. If anyone is planning on attending, please send me a private message here on Studios Central with the number of people attending and your cell phone number.

The plan is to meet up in front of the Disney Store at 11am for the private tour. Then we'll be going to the Heartland Brewery for lunch.
