For the first time in 20ish years I will not be able to be home with family for thanksgiving dinner. And while I will miss my mom's pecan pie and mashed potatos, I will be up in the orlando area.
I have a question: Do the Disney World Resturants Serve Turkey Dinners?
Thank You! :D

Pretty much all of the sit down restaurants will offer a "traditional" Thanksgiving meal.
Disneyland - a people trap run by a mouse.

I think it'll be a hard thanksgiving weather I have turkey or not. I'm not use to being away on a holiday.

There are certain restaurants that offer a special Thanksgiving dinner.

Here is info from 2007 & 2006: http://allears.net/menu/men_thks.htm

From what I can tell, not much info for this year

Don't hesitate too much. I'm sure the Disney restaurants are filling up fast for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Yeah you definitely don't want to mess around, Thanksgiving is one of the busiest times at the World.

Sad to say I tried to make plans for dinner at the mouse and all of the places I wanted to eat at were booked.
Looks like a Giordano's stuffed pizza for me... Yummy! :thumright:

You might want to keep checking. People cancel sometimes, although the ADR system at WDW doesn't give much incentive for them to do so, even if they aren't going to be there. The other possibility is just to show up early and get on a waiting list. Not sure how realistic that is on Turkey day though. Might be worth it though. Some Disney Magic might take the edge off your first solo-Thanksgiving (in 20 years).

Very true... I scored same-day ADR for Liberty Tree on our MNSSHP night this last trip. Called @ 1:00 PM.

Ooooh Turkey Legs... Sounds good!

Any yes, I said 20ish years... hahaha

I've called for resort resturant reservations and I didn't have any luck with what or where I want to eat.. My goal is to have dinner around lots of people I would love to eat at the Whispering Canyon.

You could always go to Beaches and Cream, they don't take reservations anyway!

It actually might be a great option. You can sit at the counter and get seated pretty quickly. It's a fun environment, and...ICE CREAM!
