I am taking my three sons to the first Star Wars weekend. I am traveling without my husband this trip so I'm really worried about crowds and keeping us all together.

Can anyone give me advice as to which day would be least crowded? I was thinking Friday would be a good bet since most kids still have school then. We are staying onsite so we are eligible for the EMH on Sunday night. That runs til 1 a.m. and might be a bit too late for the little guy.

As far as what I want to accomplish, I would like them to have a good chance at getting picked for the Jedi training. We'll probably want an autograph from the celebs too. I am also desperate to buy the Darth Tater toy for my 5 y.o. It's completely sold out here and online. Hoping I can buy it at the SWW.

Any advice from the been there, done that crowd?

Welcome to MGMStudios.Org bizeemom4!

Friday is also my bet for least crowded so go for that. And although EMH may be occuring on one of the SWW days, the SWW events themselves end by about 5 or 6, so there wont be anything to do SWW-wise once EMH begins.

As for Jedi Training, you can find lots of info on the jedi training here and if I were you, I'd get to the registration desk for SWW events sometime in the morning and make sure you can get a spot for them.

As for Darth Tater, Wal-Mart has them I believe (thought I read that in another thread here about Darth Tater).

Please feel free to post any other questions you might have. Hope to see you on weekend 1 :(

Friday would definately be the least busy days.

Also as tacky as it sounds if you want to keep your kids together dress 'em alike.

Or this is what my parents used to do..

my mom had a candy bar or a new toy for each of us that she would carry with her throughout the day (just something small) and we only got it if we spent the entire day RIGHT by her whenever my brother and i went with her and not my dad. Whenever we were being bad she would just say 'you're not gonna get (whatever she got us)' and she'd show it to us. We always behaved because we wanted our treat at the end of the day. :-)
