Well, I've got all the photos up on Photobucket, so the first of my many trip reports is ready. Let's start at the very beginning (which is a very good place to start).


Basically what happened was my sister held a spot for the Star Wars Parade while I followed a whole crowd of people to wherever they were going. Apparently, it was a line to meet this guy:


Meet my new friend, Jake Lloyd. I could have met Warrick Davis, but he would come to be seen during Behind The Force anyway.


I don't know who the Padwan is in front of this scenery, but doesn't it look like he's right in the middle of the set?


These guys were really cool. My sister spotted one on the roof of a building on Hollywood Boulevard broadcasting directions to the crowd below.


Because I knew the lines were long for Darths Vader and Maul and Chewbacca and the other SW characters, I decided just to take video of them and not get in line.


That is, until I found shorter lines with Princess Leia Minnie...


...and the real Princess Leia (with R2D2)...


... and the Queen Amidala...


... and the new Clone Wars character, Ahsoka Tano. She was really sweet here.


If anyone has any idea who in the Star Wars Universe this freaky chick is, please let me know.

That's right. It's the 50's Prime Time Cafe. After years of not being able to eat there due to capacity, we figured out the trick to getting ADR's: Call ahead before making the trip out there (wish the same could be said for Cinderella's Royal Table). Oh, by the way, the chick standing in this photo didn't eat her vegetables, and they called her out on it.

I can't remember her name at the moment, but if you go watch the podrace, you'll see her for all of about 5 seconds.
