WESH News (Local News) is reporting that due to economy stress with GM, GM is considering not renewing the contract with Disney when it expires later this year.

Honestly, here's hoping that it finally dies off and we get an attraction that's you know. . . good.
Professionals admit to the problem. Alcoholics claim they have no problem.

See. If I want a "Real" test experience, I'll get in my car and do what they do at facilities. I just can't take the ride serious.

Course I'm still bitter over World of Motion. . .

I think it's a pretty good attraction. I just think it should go faster, especially since I can drive faster legally on the Interstate, and to truly test a car it should go at least 90mph.... :)

I live in Germany... when I drive to Paris Disney I almost double the speed I go on test track. That is with two kids in the back seat for goodness sakes!

I like test track, but for me its re-readability factor is just too low. Once or twice it is neat... but after that you sit through waiting for the short burst of speed and it is a long time to wait. Give me world of motion any day! Then again dream flight and horizons would be welcome re additions to the park. We don't need Buzz anymore right? we have TSM!

I agree. I've always found TT to be overrated and usually notr worth the wait. If it is 10 min or less I will ride, but other than that I am fine skipping it.

We love Test Track. I believe it is very costly to run and maintain. Losing GM sponsorship will hurt the quality of the attraction. I hope Disney can find a quickreplacement if GM decides to pull out.

I talked about this alot yesterday...

The problem is much deeper for Disney. Finding a new sponsor for this right now is going to be very, very hard.

I like TT but I would definitely not be hurt AT ALL if TT was removed. I was SUPER DEVASTATED when Horizons was removed! I loved that ride and I was a small kid when it was removed I barely remember it but I loved it. I don't think many people will think of TT in that way. maybe some will but I know I won't lol!

Now if FORD comes in that would just be a cruel irony.

Change the tires on every vehicle after every show :) I mean it would be a lot smarter for a tire company to sponsor our show than Brawny...

Brawny started off (and still is) a French company. So considering that the film shoot is set in France, and the original version debuted in France. . . I'll buy the idea. Sure, it should be sponsored by some tire company but oh well.
