Don't know if this has been reported before or not, but I saw it posted on another site and thought I'd relay it. Apparently the Disneyland California Adventure attraction Superstar Limo, which has been closed for awhile now, is going to be turned into a Monsters, Inc ride. I think that means that the former Who Wants To Be A Millionaire-Play It! space won't be used to make another Aerosmith Rock'n'Roller Coaster.

This kinda sucks. They should bring it to WDW as well. I also hear that in DL's lagoon which used to be 2,000 Leagues, is being fixed up to make way for a Finding Nemo ride. Grrr.... why is DL getting the cool stuff? Haunted Mansion Holiday, Finding Nemo, and now Monsters, Inc. Then again I can't complain because we have Stitch, MGM, Epcot, & Animal Kingdom. Do they have Philarmagic? Hopefully, the two new rides will eventually make their way over to Florida though.

Sooner or later we (Florida) will get all the rides. But I do agree with you Miri that I'm jealous

Yes, and just as everyone over here complains that DL gets all the cool stuff, all the DL people complain that WDW gets all the cool stuff. It's a never ending cycle. Even if all the parks were exactly the same, people would still complain.

If anyone thinks DL has it better than WDW, they're crazy. We have 4 parks, 2 water parks, a boatload of hotels and I'm not even mentioning Celebration, DTD or PI.

Yup. WDW is much bigger. There's so many things in DL I want to experience. My friend told me that it just feels old... but in a nice way. I mean, Walt was actually there. So just knowing that is amazing. I want to see the Alice ride and all the other stuff they have that WDW doesn't.

That is exactly why Disneyland's president Matt Ouiment is working to create new rides and attractions for Disneyland. WDW is getting much more for DLR's 50th than Disneyland is. DLR needs these upgrades. Plus - Stitch, Cinderellabration, Soarin', LMA, and E:E are all coming while DLR may get Monster's Inc., a new fireworks show, and possibly a 20K ride. Fair? Probably not.

DL doesn't have the space for half of WDW.

I understand that but at the same time, Disneyland has really been shafted out of rides for a long time now. All of Tomorrowland could have used a extensive overhaul after everything started falling apart.

If it IS a monsters, inc. ride I've love to ride it. I have to go to disneyland again sometime. I just have to find someone who wants to go with me.

Let's see here. Disneyland Resort has the most recent United States Disney theme park and has had the Bugs Land and Tower of Terror additions to Disney's California Adventure. Disneyland itself has gotten the new Winnie the Pooh ride as well as the Haunted Mansion and It's a Small World Holiday overlays. They are getting Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blaster and there is work in the Submarine Lagoon. They have more attractions then any other Disney Theme Park as well as being the center of the 50th anniversary of their resort which is being celebrated in all of the Disney parks worldwide. That doesn't sound shafted to me.

The Monsters Inc. ride could be an inverted coaster, like in the movie when the doors on the conveyor belt.

Thats because the attractions have been spread out at WDW. WDW has 4 parks, 2 water parks, hotels, DTD, PI and more. When we say "shafted", we mean there's more total at WDW than at DL.

Exactly DL doesnt have the amount of venues that WDW has and DL is the original so it's kind of cheap for them.
