Sorry if this is obvious and I am just missing it, but can someone explain or point me to the right thread to explain the user information under our Avatar?

Thanks for the sample stats Matt and thanks for any info anyone. :salut:

The points are like the points on Who's Line is it Anyway?. They don't matter. We get them for correctly answering Trivia, Quotes, and Pictures of the Week contests. Also for Sid's Trivia, when it's updated. You can donate points to people, but again, it doesn't really matter, it's just for fun. The pictures are located in the Album link in the top right of the page.

The points are mostly for bragging rights for those who answer the trivia related questions on the site and such. :salut:

Thank you for finally answering this. I've been wondering the same, but just never bothered to ask anyone.

Oh, also how exactly does that all work anyway? You stated when answering trivia or etc. I answered something right, but currently am still 0. I not complaining, just still confused. :?: :?: :?: :?

The points ought to count for something. Say a poster gets like 1000 points should get a little something like, oh, say, a free T-shirt?

Maybe that's asking too much. After all, t-shirt sales are what support the costs of this website, no?

And speaking of winning things, Matt, has that prize from the last Studios Chat I was at shipped out yet?

You get points by answering the Picture, Trivia or Quote of the Week contests correctly. If you answer correctly, you get 1 point. If you are the first to answer correctly for the week, you get an additional point (2 total). If you answer the Quote of the week correctly and mention who says it, you get 2 points.

Peter, prizes from chat have not been mailed out yet but they will....things have been busy here lately

You know, if you need a photo person to capture obscurity at the studios, I'm your guy!

The points? I have yet to find a decent points solution for the new message board software so they're in limbo right now. Eventually they will return.

And as a result of Matt's laziness inability to find a points system, there aren't any points being handed out for the quizzes at the moment ;)
