We seem to have a problem with our upcoming trip! My DS is 11 now and is an extremely picky eater. Has anyone had experience with ordering off the children's menu for a kid over age 9 at sit downs? Last trip we didn't have a problem but sooner or later the CM's will start asking his age! It's not a money issue...believe me I would love for him to eat an adult meal for once! LOL I just don't want him to starve or have to eat at fast food the whole trip. Thanks!

I don't think it would be a problem, in case they ask you can always just tell them that he's a picky eater. My son was a picky eater until he hit 13 then he's appetite and his variety of foods grew so there's still hope.

I think we have/had similar problems. My daughter turns 11 next month, but we've been ordering off the kids menu for her since she turned 9. Quite honestly though no one has ever asked her age before at counter service and sit down restaurants except for buffets.
We've never had a problem ordering off the kids menu though. We'll probably do the same this year as well. I just can't see getting her adult entrees because it just seems like a lot of food for a 10 or 11 year old.

I've been with plenty of adults who have eaten off the kids menu. Not a problem in the least bit!
