This week we have set a theme of "empty" for our photo assignment and look at photos from around Disney’s Hollywood Studios that evoke that theme.

"12:30pm after downpour" by Ryan Thompson of Cary, NC

In Florida, there’s always a good chance of a quick downpour that looks like a monsoon for about 30 minutes and then it can magically clear out and yet, many guests choose to "head for the hills" and leave the park.  As you can see in this photo, Sunset Boulevard was empty following that rain.

"Empty Streets of America" by JNad

This is a beautiful photo of an empty Streets of America lit up at night and it looks so serene and having a good camera, as this person clearly did, makes the lights really glow as if this were a real city street.

"2001 Trip: Hollywood Boulevard Empty" by Disney, Indiana

I love this photo because we can step back in time and look at Hollywood Boulevard during the 100 Years of Magic Celebration at Walt Disney World, when the Sorcerer’s Hat was brand new and One Man’s Dream had just opened.  Ahh, memories…

Be sure to send us your photos for next week, which will feature the theme of "candy".  Any photos you may have from Hollywood Studios that you think fits into the theme of "candy" can be sent to us to be featured in this column.
