This week, American Idol Experience changed its show schedule by reducing the amount of shows to 6 per day (from 8) and adjusting some times.
Do you see this as a cut back? Or just adjusting to the needs of the show?

I see it as an adjustment to crowds attending the show and possibly the number of guests auditioning per day.

I agree, it's likely is a result of the number of guests in the theater and volunteers for the show. I'm sure the mouse keeps track of such things and it can't be good "show" if some performances have more empty seats than others.

I went a couple of months ago with a friend from out-of-state who is an AI TV show fan. Even she wasn't really excited after seeing her first AIE show and said it wasn't something she would do again soon. I think it's just not filling up the audience for 8 shows a day and also probably difficult getting suifficient competitors for 7 shows a day. Just a matter of supply & demand being adjusted, I think.
