There's a rumor out there and I'll post it here for posterity but I don't quite believe it. Evidently, 50's Prime Time isn't serving lunch as of January 1, 2010. Some people have tried to make ADR's for lunch at 50's after Jan and there's nothing available.

I'm guessing there's a hiccup in Disney's system or perhaps they are booked for lunch right after Jan 1, but I really can't believe that they'd cut lunch...it makes no sense.

Jan 1 is within the 90 day window... and the marathon is the 7th-10th. Likely folks are coming in for the week beforehand and all the ADRs are booked.

Makes sense.... Why eat prime time in the afternoon? It would throw my mental time off by about four hours.
Professionals admit to the problem. Alcoholics claim they have no problem.

Maybe they're holding to the "eat the main meal in the afternoon when cheaper" method.

I don't believe it. It's got to be a glitch.

So, you can book dinner, but not lunch? What is the cutoff...4:00PM from lunch to dinner? You can book at 4:00PM, but not before?

That would be crazy! THey are always packed I think so why would they cut lunch?

This is by far one of my favorite places to eat lunch or dinner... I hope Disney didnt cut another option.

Man last time I was there I had an extra dining credit so I got the fried chicken and the pot roast... with a milk shake and a sprite... and two desserts... Man alive was I stuffed... all I could do was sit outside on the curb and watch the CoH while leaning on a light post. Man... what a great day!

I checked at Prime Time this past Sunday and they had availability for lunch in mid January, so I suspect any issues people have had with booking after January have been either the restaurant really was booked or Disney's system was malfunctioning.
