The following info comes from a user at Intercot, so proper due goes to that individual...

Well in keeping with the seemingly endless array of ways Disney tries to confuse the heck out of their guests, reports are that Adventureland will have a new operating schedule as Thanksgiving approaches. Allegedly, the hours will be as follows:

Quote

Sunday, Thursday, and Saturday: The following rides open at 9 a.m. - Pirates of the Caribbean and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Jungle Cruise will open at 10 AM.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: Everything opens at 10 a.m.

For Thanksgiving Week (November 23 - 29): All of Adventureland opens 9 a.m. every day.

Other news bites:

* The Monorail (both sides) will stop operating at 9 p.m. on October 29. This is in order to allow some routine maintenance to be performed. They should be finished by 6 the following morning, but just in case extra busses will be on hand for transportation.
* Frontierland's Country Bear Jamboree will close November 17 - 21 to dress up for the holidays. It will also be closed January 12-16, 2004 to accomodate for returning to the normal show.
* Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree at the Diamond Horseshoe will not perform Monday, October 27 and Tuesday, October 28. They are making some tweaks to the show and expect it to reopen Wednesday, October 29.
* NEW AT THE ANIMAL KINGDOM: 15 minutes before Animal Kingdom's opening, guests will be permitted to enter the park and proceed to the Tree of Life. There Disney will present The Adventure Begins. Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy will welcome guests to the park. The show will end with the characters boarding a truck and leading the way into Harambe.

Well doesn't someone have an attitude toady!

Talked with a few Cast in Adventureland this week and the schedule is driving them nuts. also many guests are complaining that the ride over there are closed.

It just makes little sense to have one area open one hour later than the rest of the park. Unlike World Showcase, there isn't too much preperation needed.

:) ;)

Now, y'all know I'd usually interject a smart remark here, but I'm not touching that one with a 10 foot pole!
I'd like to live to see my 19th birthday this year...
