We attended SWW for the first time last year. With the earlier dates this year I've noticed that the park closes at 7:00 PM on some evenings. Last years wrap up at the Hyper Space Hoopla started at 7:00 PM. So does anyone who has gone in those earlier years (2005 & back) when they had May dates have any wisdom they can shed on how the schedule will play out. Will they do the Hyper Space Hoopla earlier?

Thanks!

The sad answer, in terms of planning, is that we won't really know what the 2009 schedule is until sometime during the week before the 1st weekend at the earliest. Last year, Matt got the schedule on Tuesday which was the earliest I'd ever seen it and I was handed a copy of the schedule on Thursday evening. I walked around showing it to people who didn't understand how precious it was.

And, yes, it plays havoc with setting up ADRs.

On the other hand, people planning for February using the "official hours" said that Disney tended to view the hours as "guidelines".

My plan, which I call "my plan" is to find out what I can as early as possible, but not to worry too much about it. Basically, I'm just hoping that the hoopla happens and isn't cancelled because of the budget or "safety issues" like the EPCOT Christmas Tree lighting. :thumleft:

I'm literally trying to leave one evening free of ADRs just so I can experience the Hoopla. I figured that's the only way to guarantee that I see it.

The hoopla is definitely worth seeing
