If you use the link above, the reported times for Oct 12 are VERY accurate. I was there yesterday (oct 12) and by 10am the ToT wait was already at 110 mins! By 10:30am there were no more fast passes available. RnR took the left over of the impact. The whole weekend everything seemed fairly crowded. Guess Columbus Day weekend is one of those to avoid.

Ahh, but alas there is a reason, if you look at the rehab scedule if it is still correct, only one side of the tower was to be up on the 12th so that would explain why there was such a long wait.

MGM as a whole was crowded, I would expect less FastPasses with one side down. Also the other parks were having the same long waits overall.

The park as a whole was pretty crowded as it wasn't just ToT that had a long wait. This was Columbus Day Weekend and although it's the not the biggest holiday on the calander, folks still get off and I suspect lots of locals were taking advantage of the holiday.

yeah, plus alot of schools atleast around here had their Fall Break these past few days, thats another reason that there was probably more of a crowd.

Ah, okay, good, so this stupid cold wasn't driving me crazy.
I TOLD my friend Tasha it was really crowded, but she just said, "Les, that cold is eating away at your brain. You're losing it, chica."

Yes, at the time Tower had one side down. Currently both sides are down starting today.

This is one of the main reasons that the Disney Studios needs to expand. It is the smalles park at WDW, which is noticable by the line times. I think the Motor Stunt show and HM set will help, but I think it is still missing something. Right now, it lacks appeal for younger children. Kids who have been to all the parks hate Epcot and MGM, and love the AK (except the walk and heat) and the MK. MGM is more for thrill seekers, such as myself, but it needs to get bigger and appeal to a general audience instead of a specialized one.

MGM is definetly not a thrill park by any means of the word. It has 2 intense rides. Thats it. Star Tours is not a thrill ride. If it is, then either your name is Ned Flanders or you've never been on any ride larger than that of a local carnival. :D

Most rides are very tame there and if you look at say Six Flags or IOA, then you'll see why it really isn't a thrill park. I do agree that size wise, it's too small but I'm not sure they need radical expansion, just make better use of the space they have.

You're right, two rides and a maybe don't exactly make it a thrill park. However, I think it is more of a thrill park than anything else. I agree, Six Flags is much more intense, but as Disney goes, the RnR and ToT are the best of the best.

Nice line on Ned Flanders, that was good-diddly-ood. :D

The wait times are going down a bit now.... they should be pretty low next weekend as well even though attendance will be high. We will have a ton of people for Super Soap Weekend, but not many will ride any rides. So go if you want to go ride a lot of rides without much wait and don't mind the crowds on the way to the rides :)

The Star Wars weekends were the same way. The area around Star Tours was over crowded, but the wait was never more than 5 min.
