On to the food my daughter is not the adventureous type so she got the chicken strips with chips, grapes and a drink, she said it was good. My son and I got the chicken tacos with pico de gallo and chips. We enjoyed them, they come in 3 little tacos with the pico de gallo in a little plastic container so you can put as much or as little as you want. The chips were freshly made and still warm which was great, the chicken was good the only thing is that the portion is tiny, but they pack the plate with the chips so you can fill up. For dessert we tried the churros with dulce de leche, the churros where on the hard side but when you dunked it in the dulce the leche it was better. Overall I give La Cantina de San Angel a 7, the food was a bit better than before, the good thing is that they still have the little kiosk in front that sell more mexican food and the flautas there a re good, so you can buy that and still eat indoors. Also I find that this restaurant is a little overpriced, $11 for 3 tiny tacos and a bunch of chips is expensive to me.
I did talk to a CM inside the Hacienda and they said that at night they do dim the lights and pump the music for Illuminations. Great because I made res. for my daughter's 10th b-day in October to eat here at night. So I'll have that report in Oct.

The only con I would give this restaurants is that the whole staff seemed a little rushed, I didn't feel rushed by them, is just they all moved so fast all around, maybe it's because we were seated close to the kitchen doors and I could see people going in and out.
It was a great experience and I would try this restaurant again.

We were (me and a couple of friends) seated next to a window. The view of Illuminations was nice however, the windows do have breaks where you might have some obstruction. It was still very good though. The one thing I found interesting was how quiet the fireworks were during the show. The Illuminations fireworks are typically very loud, but inside the windows those same fireworks sounded like very tiny pops. I was amazed!

I've heard a few good things about the Margaritas from other sources, but I'm not sure what to think. I'm very finicky about mine, and I hate the "touristy" watered-down ones you get at most restaurants. I like mine with attitude! Any observations?

One way to avoid a "touristy" margarita is to order it "on the rocks." There are 2 potential pitfalls w/this 1. I can't remember if you can at LHdSA 2. you have to like a margarita on the rocks...enjoy either way!!!

Is the Tequila Flight the same one they have inside (in La Cava Del Tequila)? I've had that one, and it's pretty good.
As for a Margarita Flight date during Reunion, that sounds pretty cool. I'll check our schedule and post which dates we're going to be at San Angel.... or at least at Epcot.
