...lightning struck the Hollywood Tower Hotel and it hasn't quite been the same since.

According to the story of the Tower of Terror, October 31, 1939 is when the events of the backstory at Tower of Terror occurred. Happy anniversary? :)

Yep, noticed that. Well, seventy years ago, that is. Sally Shine just came home from a publicity trip, only to be wasted along with her fellow guests.

Sorry I missed this. But lightning struck all the Towers of Terror on Halloween in 1939.

Yeah, I played some 30s music that day, mostly as a tribute to the ride and the characters.
