Looking at June 9, not an EMH morning or night, but it is a Fantasmic night. This is the Thursday before the last Star Wars weekend.

How do'able is this?

Arriving 3:00-3:30pm, closing is 9pm

1. Send family to Star Tours, I head to Tower to get FP's
2. Ride Star Tours
3. See Muppetvision
4. Eat
5. Ride Toy Story Mania (will not have FP)
6. Ride Great Movie Ride
7. See Voyage of Little Mermaid
8. Ride Tower using FP

Main concern: Will we have time to do this before closing at 9pm?

Thanks for any suggestions!

That's alot to accomplish in 6 hours...first since Start Tours will be brand new the lines there might be a bit long, how long I don't know but maybe 30 to 45min?? TSM will probably be at +90minutes by the afternoon. If you can't get in any earlier what I would do is to stop at the tipboard and look at wait times, if ToT is less than Star Tours and ST still has FP I would grab FP for ST and ride ToT. Then this is what I would do:
Ride ToT
Ride GMR
Eat
See VotLM
Muppets
Ride ST with FP
and end the day making the line for TSM
maybe at the end of the day, since it's a Fantasmic! night people will go there and TSM won't be that bad...

Thank you for the reply! That sounds good as it also puts the rides that are higher on our priority list earlier in the schedule.

Question: Do you think the Studios are generally more crowded on a Fantasmic! night, or on an evening of a day that had morning emh? My choices are either one of those or the Friday of the last Star Wars weekend.

Thanks again!

Studios is generally pretty packed to EXTREMELY packed any day Fantasmic! is being held. The morning EMH don't have much of an impact on afternoon/evening crowds at the Studios from what I've seen. If your main goal is to have fewer crowds, and seeing Fantasmic isn't a priotity, I would say go on a day that has the am EMH.

I agree with Debbie, it tends to be busier when there is Fantasmic! Plus people often use early EMH to do the big rides and then park hop to other parks in the afternoon.

I have to agree with the others. On a non-Fantasmic night I might see this happening but I fully expect the lines for Star Tours and TSMM to be quite long.

To better understand what Fantasmic! does to park crowds, read this article: http://www.studiosce...llywood-studios
