So I was curious how everyone felt about the various counter service locations at DHS, so list your personal preference for counter service at Hollywood Studios from most favorite to least favorite.

ABC Commissary
Backlot Express
Rosie's All American Cafe
Studio Catering Co
Toy Story Pizza Planet

I only listed the "main" counter service locations where you could really get a meal, but if there's one I missed that you feel is quite good, feel free to toss it in there.

I really don't enjoy any of the counter service places at HS, but if I had to rank them:

I agree Yulady about the benefit of the free refills at Backlot Express. Now if they would only bring back the fixins bar they used to have....

Not a fan of CS at DHS myself. I think its the worst of all the parks. However, I would say

As a side note, my sister and BIL were stopped to do a survey in the Studios that asked what they thought about the counter service offerings. I believe the word she used to describe them was "abysmal." I thought it was interesting that there is even a survey happening about the Studios' CS. One can only hope for a change for the better soon!!

Disney is very much interested in customer opinions and they often conduct these sort of surveys. Glad to hear your sister voiced her concerns to them and hopefully they work to better the offerings!

I'm with your sister. I think DHS has the worst Counter service in any WDW parks

I must say I ate at the Studios Catering Company last Monday and liked the salad. Bump it up to the top of my list. Its better than the crappy pizza at Pizza planet anyway

A friend of mine worked at Pizza Planet last summer.
Every few days she would take home a couple of pizzas that her manager gave to her.
She was from Taiwan and wasn't really used to American pizzas. I tried to convince her that they were terrible but she still ate them every other day.
I do not know how she manages to survive on those pizzas.

I agree that the counter service is terrible, I can't even really remember the last time I ate counterservice there.
I always make plans for either sit-down or not eating.

I remember the ABC Commissary being good, but its been 10 years, however I will be trying them in March. I assume the kid will want to eat at pizza planet as he is a huge toy story fan, but not sure if i can handle the insane noise level.

I find the second floor to be less noisy

I agree with Matt, The second floor is your best bet. But be warned, the pizza like most in WDW stinks
