Effective yesterday, September 22, 2003, Pal Mickey ( http://wdwig.com/pal.htm ) costs a little bit more! The new price to purchase the talking plush tour guide is $56.33 plus tax ($60.00 TOTAL). The rental deposit also increased to $60.00. The daily rental fee remains $8.00 plus tax; the $32 plus tax price for a 4-6 day rental also remains the same.

Also, coming in October, Spanish-speaking Pal Mickey will be available for rent or purchase in the following locations: Main Street Cinema (Magic Kingdom); Darkroom (Disney-MGM Studios); Camera Center (Epcot); Disney Outfitters (Disney's Animal Kingdom); Once Upon A Toy (Downtown Disney Marketplace) (for sale only).

Sad to see it all go up. He hasn't been out that long and is on his way up. Hopefully they kept drinks the same.

Only about 30,000 other items (Literally). :rollblue: For example, 11" plush is now $12 instead of $11, light chasers are $14 instead of $13.

hehe nope, you know how hard it is to go for almost 2.5 years quoting prices of the stuff we've had that whole time, and then have a price increase on them?!?! It's such habit to say the old prices.

I really don't mind about the Pal Mickey increase. Want to know why? Because I was going to get one, and then I saw it on Resort TV. I love Mickey, the mouse is awesome. But I don't think I can stand that voice with me throughout the parks. Ay carumba, maybe another character like Figment or Tom Morrow :marlins:, but for now, I am my own Pal Mickey. I have enough Disney facts and information to keep myself busy while waiting in line.

I agree with Brendan....great for WDW novices or kids but for me, I think I'll pass.

I have my own Personal Pal Mickey ;) I'll explain- My boyfriend is a walking Disney trivia/fact/history person, plus he tells all the corny jokes Pal Mickey does.

Pal Mickey is a lot of fun to play with though, I have one at work (not my own, but it belongs to our area) I play with it at least once a week. I don't have my own, but I do want on.

Here is one of those jokes I wish Pal Mickey would say but I know he won't because I could imagine the complaints Disney would get... heard it while waiting in line at the Jungle Cruise....

Why did Tigger have his head in the toliet?

He was looking for Pooh!
