Earlier today, the Disney Parks Blog posted a list of characters making an appearance in Star Tours 2.0. In addition to the original droid characters of AC-38 (Ace) and Ally San San, we'll be seeing:

Admiral Ackbar
Boba Fett
C3PO
Chewbacca
Darth Vader (with Stormtroopers and new "Skytroopers")
Princess Leia
R2-D2
Yoda

Aside from a few canon concerns, it looks like we're in for quite a ride.

Glenn and I were briefly talking about the Cannon issues. But then the first Star Tours wasn't exactly on point their either. Where'd that Death Star come from???

If these are sighting or if there is voice work involved it will be interesting to hear how they integrate this into the ride.

The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be ...unnatural.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this to take place prior to A New Hope? How would Leia and Yoda figure in to the timeline? I'm wondering how the continuity will figured in, if at all.

That's just my point. I can see a young Leia appearing on Alderaan but Yoda was hiding out on Dagobah, not exactly connecting with others in a manner that would be easy to script into an new attraction.

Are they going all 'Jeff Bridges in Tron Legacy' with Carrie Fisher for this?

According to Screamscape, Hasbro showedoff a pair of toy sets for ST2 earlier this week, the first being the ambush set where we can see the new skytroopers and the second being the travel agency set featuring mostly droids.
