Okay, has anyone participated in any of the activities that for wilderness has to offer? Such as the campfire stories or the trails or whatnot? I might go sometime this week and I was wondering what was fun to do at fort wilderness. :-)

So what's there to do?

When I was a little kid I rode ponies there. Me and my saddle just slipped off the side of one and I feel to the ground. My dad, who was leading the pony around, just keep walking not noticing that I was no longer on the pony.

Aside from that I haven't been out to Fort Wilderness since the early 90's and that was only to go to River Country.

Lol. I like the pony story John. It is kinda funny that your Dad didn't notice.

I've heard good things about Fort Wilderness from relatives who are die hard travelers via the open road.

I would love to be able to stay in a tent at Ft. Wilderness. I think that's the way that resort was meant to be experienced.

The campfire movies are great ;) so is just walking around out there. We've had a few CM parties out there. I've also done the horseback riding since I had a friend that worked there.
