Yesterday before leaving DHS I went inside Mickey's of Hollywood and some of the anniversary merchandise is there. Also went to World of Disney store at DTD and they have a bigger selection. It all looks great and there's a wide variety of things from t-shirts, hats and jackets to stationary, mousepads and 1000 piece puzzle. Just wanted to give the heads up to anyone coming to the parks. Here's a site that has alot of pictures of the merchandise:http://zannaland.com/wdw-40th-anniversary-new-duffy-merchandise/

I'm glad to see the merchandise available but until proven otherwise, Disney sees the anniversary as a way to sell guests stuff instead of a celebration of an anniversary.

Agreed, Matt. If WDW doesn't want to celebrate turning 40 on Oct 1, well, then people can just join my husband & me in WDW to celebrate my 40th b-day. I have decided not to ignore it, & celebrate in grad style, by having a fireworks display around 8pm over a castle or 9pm over some water & maybe w/an illuminated globe. Plans yet TBD. ;)

I usually don't go crazy over merchandise, but those vinylmations are my kryponite! :o

especially for my wallet. the first 4 of the 40th anniversary vinyls are pretty, but the newest one is really spiffy.
