Rules are must be between Dec 19 and Jan 1 and only before noon or between 3 and 4:30 p.m. (and alcohol is excluded).
The reason for this coupon is to encourage guests NOT to eat during the busiest times of the day during a VERY busy 2 weeks of the year. If you're gonna be in WDW during this time of the year, it makes perfect sense to take advantage of this rather large discount.

The coupons will be attached to the time guides for all theme parks, also the coupon will appear on the bottom of merchandise receipts.

Wow, that's an aggressive move. Guess Disney is really trying to get guests to eat at off-peak times.

used my first coupon yesterday at Tamu-Tamu at AK, saved almost $10 
, BTW Tamu Tamu was a little hidden gem for us, I had the tuna flatbread and Gustavo had the turkey on focaccia bread, both great!!
