I've heard that the Starring Rolls Cafe makes the desserts for the Brown Derby Restaurant, and you can get the Brown Derby desserts at the Starring Rolls Cafe.

Can anyone confirm this?

I've heard this too.
On Mousesavers it saysin

Quote

At The Brown Derby in Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Flourless Chocolate Cake is served with sorbet on the side for $8 (plus tax and tip). At the Starring Rolls bakery next door, you can get a slice of the same cake (without garnish) for under $3.

I hope this helps.

We're planning on dessert there this coming Saturday, so I'll let you know.

I see you've seen Remy. We're planning on lunch at Chefs de France this coming Tuesday.

It looks like neither rumor is true. The Brown Derby makes the desserts for Starring Rolls Cafe, and while it's true that you can get some of the desserts at Starring Rolls (like the grapefruit cake and flourless chocolate cake) you can't get all the desserts there. We asked twice about the Banana White Chocolate Toffee Tower and were told twice that you can't get it at Starring Rolls. So we stopped in at Brown Derby just for desserts. Since we have the Tables in Wonderland card it wasn't too bad.
