Mine came in the mail today :) It's best to have for when you get a bad case of missing WDW.

The DVD is much better than the video. The option to see each resort and the ride previews are great.

The option for the ride previews in the special features is nice, but it's just the same video of the attraction from the main video and they have like 5 or 6 attractions available so I'm hoping a better edition next year.

We watch our DVD the other day.

:?: I noticed that the MGM on the Gateway to Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and the Animation tour, was edited out of the pictures. I also noticed, in the lower right hand corner of the screen, where they placed the park they are showing, MGM Studios was only "Disney Studio."

Does anyone know why they are not using the MGM name in this DVD. :?:

Thanks,

Randy

The reason is because Disney licensed the use of MGM and its films in an agreement with the MGM Studios. In 2004, this agreement ends so it seems Disney is prepping folks for this by trying to switch what they call the park. :frownblue:

Oh yea, it's much more guided and organized....actually feels like a DVD, and not a glorified VHS tape. Plus it includes info on all the new attractions, even Wishes. Plus the Studios section is actually long. usually MK and Epcot have big spots, and short little spots for MGM and AK.

HEY! I resent that! I love VHS's and I really wanna to go to DL and California adventure. LOL. I'm moving to Cali when I get old enough!

I am still waiting for my newest DVD to arrive. I hope it is better than the new WDW Tour on resort TV. The new "Top 7" for the WDW Tour is awful and tells very little of the Studios.

Anyway, I order all the vacation planning videos/dvds I can. Great collector items as well.
