Ok so after I saw how awesome Singin' In The Rain is, I decided to check out some of the other GMR films. I just got done downloading Casablanca... thank you Pirate Bay..... I'll watch it later tonight, and post my review of it here.

You have to like it. There is no other option.

I'm sure I will.... you and I seem to have the same taste in other things, so I'm sure if you like a movie, I'll enjoy it as well. Ever seen Journey to the Center of the Earth from 1959? Awesome movie!

Ok so I just got done watching it. And again I say, what the hell happened to Hollywood? Casablanca is so damn amazing! I really wasn't expecting to enjoy a romantic movie this much! Ingrid Bergman was a hottie too! I seriously would love to make a movie like this one day. This is now in my top 5 favorite movies of all time.... and quite possibly in my top 3. I absolutely loved it. There is one beef I have with it.... ***SLIGHT SPOILER WARNING*** Why'd they have to kill Peter Lorre?! Damn Nazis!!!!! But other than that, absolutely outstanding flick!

Matt...what is wrong with you?!?! The library & Netflix are your friend for old classics.

I love Casablanca. We have it on DVD. I also always liked Journey to the Center of the Earth. We rented it a few weeks ago and my son LOVED it. I think he enjoyed it more than the 3-D movie that came out recently.

I personally wasn't impressed with Casablanca. When I watched it, I spent the whole time going "I know that line and that line and that line and that line". It got to be ridiculous how many lines were used in other movies over the years. I didn't even need to see the movie to know the movie. For most people it's a classic, for me not so much. The same can be said for An Affair To Remember. I wasn't impressed by that either.

I guess that's why I don't usually watch "classic" films. :?

Matt, I completely know what you mean! But trust me, you can't go wrong renting Casablanca before your honeymoon! Just remember to give me credit for the suggestion!

You've never seen Casablanca? That's so wrong. I can't say that it's as good as Singin' In The Rain, because nothing is, but it's very good.

I think that it would be cool to do a movie marathon with every movie in the GMR..Start with Footlight Parade and then end with The Wizard of Oz..

Not counting the finale montage? That would take like a week.

Casablanca is a Fantastic Movie! If you enjoyed Bogart, I also reccommend the African Queen which also stars Kathryn Hepburn. Good movies! :3d:

Matt. Lazy has nothing to do with it. I have a remote control for the ceiling fan and a small ice box in my room, don't talk to me about lazy. Can't believe you come into my office and have not seen Casablanca. . . .

And it actually takes about two weeks watching from Footlight Parade through the last clip in the Finale film.

I figured as much. So have you actually watched them back to back, or did you just calculate all the running times?

Watched them back to back. (I must note though, not all of the movies in finale are available for purchase on DVD, or they were and I just couldn't get them). But it is about two weeks.

Niice, sounds like an interesting way to spend two weeks. I'd totally do it, and will once/if I can find them all.
