This is a short first report while I'm on break.

We flew in on the 11th just as the TS was about to hit. Our first day in the parks was the 12th and we caught some intense downpours.

The first park was MGM, the first ride was Star Tours.

When we came out and entered the hallway to TT there was Darth Vader and two stormtroopers. The pictures are still on the wifes camera so I cant post them yet.

The rest of the day was going around (with ponchos on) doing things we had skipped on the last trip (Great Movie Ride, Backlot Tour).

Got to Meet Wizard Micky that day tho. More to follow.

It's a good start. I like the photo, everyone looks happy!
.....
The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be ...unnatural.

Here is a little more.

As I said out first character meet was Darth Vader:

It happened so quick I forgot to put down the ponchos.

Later that day, after running around in the rain, was when we saw Mickey. You can see my wet shorts in the full picture.

We stayed in the ‘50s building at POP. We were in building #1, so we were close to the main building and busses.

We skipped Animal Kingdom on the last trip so that was the next day. I got one of the safari vests, I find it quite handy (I still wear it), my youngest thinks it makes me look like a dork.
My oldest was on a mission to meet Pooh, and she did while we were at AK:

Along with Chip and Dale:

The spinny coaster was a lot of fun too.

Thursday night was dinner at the American Grill (I think) atop the Contemporary Resort. A true highlight was watching the fireworks from their observation deck.
Here is a view of Space mountain from the deck:

The water parks were fun too:

The longest line we had was Air Trans when we were leaving because their computers were down and they only had 2 people working the counter. 2 ½ hours later, when we were finally at the counter, there were still only 2 people working the counter and there was a line past the next airlines area. We will never fly with them again.

Well that’s all for now.
It was a great trip, probably 2 years until we can do it again.
