Disney & Co.

Last week we looked at a building that is part of Keystone Clothiers and what architectual inspiration was used and this week we move down Hollywood Boulevard to the Disney & Co. building that is part of the Mickey’s of Hollywood store. Like the other building, Disney & Co. is a facade of a building that is in fact based on another building in the real world and used for Disney’s version of Hollwood.

The Disney & Co. store is based on a three level architectural masterpiece with a creative, historic feel. It features beautiful vintage details inside and out and it ex-emplifies Old Hollywood. It is located in the heart of Hollywood’ s Core Entertainment Industry area located on the southeast signalized corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Cole Avenue. What makes this building important, is that it was the original location of 525 post production, which was a television post production facility for many years. What made 525 stand out, was the fact it was one of the first high end post production houses that offered top of the line editors as well as stellar staff.
