What they don't include is the areas of land Disney has already leased out to places like the Four Seasons and all the development at Bonnet Creek, but since this refers to the Studios as MGM, I'm sure this was published before many of these deals were recently announced.

It just goes to show just how humongous the property is. But that's one of the things that makes Disney World great. There is a buffer zone between Disney World and the real world.

I forget when they took down Mickey's hand over EPCOT's sphere but that also tells me it's not a really new map. I have a great map supplied to DVC guests in 2002 titled "Walt Disney World Transportation Guide/Map". It's a bit out of date but great for driving around WDW 'cause it shows all the roads in detail and it's in a fairly large format good for older eyes! I wish they still produced it but, alas, like all things great, it's been replaced by a much less detailed (and smaller) map of the property and Old Key West resort...
