Aside from the food, I really felt like the seating issue is larger than I had once thought. It really hinders group conversation and I've often found that meals are a great time for everyone to talk about what has happened so far that day and what's yet to come.
Where should Matt dine at next?

Good Review. too bad it did not surprise you and end up being good food.

I don't really feel the seating is a problem, but then I've never been there with more than 1 other person. It's actually an asset for small parties, given that you can almost always walk in and get a seat in the back of some 6-person car already occupied by a party of 4. The biggest problem I've seen is the one-parent-two children scenario, as the children in the seat by themselves almost always decompensate while out of reach of their parent.
While it is noisy, I can't offhand think of a restaurant there that I haven't thought was pretty noisy if it was well-occupied--even CA Grill can get deafening at peak times. There is little question however, that the food is fairly average--I guess the only issue is whether the entertainment is enough to justify the prices.
