I hope the Magic win. I couldn't stand to see another one of the NBA's darling teams win it again this year. This is the Lakers 30th trip to the NBA Finals!

So the real question becomes
Orlando - Walt Disney World vs. Los Angeles - Disneyland

Disney has to like this matchup. They own ABC, so they can advertise their theme parks all over the place(though I expect Disneyland attendance to drop during the days that the Finals take place).

From a ratings perspective I suspect Cavs/Lakers would have been better.

Probably, but Disney can still milk this for all it's worth. Better than the Nuggets at least.

Nuggets were actually really impressive. I'm a big Chauncey fan...I wish we (Mavericks) had gotten him. They would have been ratings poison though.

I'll definitely be cheering for the Magic. I hate Kobe Bryant so much.

I merely meant to observe that the owner of ABC would rather have a huge media market like L.A. instead of a not as huge as L.A. market like Denver. It would have been fun to see the Nuggets and Magic because the media would have to come up with something else besides Kobe and LeBron to talk about. Besides that, the closest NBA teams to me are the Warriors and Kings, so the Nuggets are far better than those two teams.
