I've begun an initiative on Studios Central to create a directory of the Citizens of Hollywood at http://www.studiosce...ns-of-hollywood

Frankly, it's overdue and I'm slowly getting to together but if anyone has any information or profiles to contribute, post them here so I can "fill in the gaps". Currently I'm trying to interview a few CoH each week I'm at the Studios to get the information as accurate as I can.

Looks pretty good so far. Have you been to the (Un)Official Citizens of Hollywood Myspace page? They have lots of pictures of the famous residents of Disney's Hollywood Studios, and the best part is you don't even have to be a registered member of that accursed website to see the photos. Just click the character's name. Another suggestion would be the streetmosphere fan group on Yahoo. Unfortunately, it's pretty dead at the moment, but there's lots of good reading for members there (and yes, you actually have to be a member to read the messages. Sorry.)

Hope this all helps.

Here's the ticket that Officer William Club gave me one of the first times we met. I told him that the studios was always our last day (that's been changed now, since we tend to go on Saturdays instead for morning EMH).

Heh. I got a ticket for littering by knocking my empty soda bottle off the armrest of my bench. I tried to explain it was a gust of wind. ;)

Thanks ghost1000, I'll have to post that somewhere.

Peter, I've been to the myspace page but what I need is the information you find in the profiles on my pages, such as where they're from originally, their slogan, etc. I'll be in the parks interviewing them to the best of my ability over the next few weeks to hopefully fill in the holes.

Great job on the directory. These characters are kind of a mystery to many guests and hard its hard remember their names since they don't have a direct tie-in to any other Disney property (similar to DaVine in Animal Kingdom).

While I do not have any information on the characters, I can say that I did see a certain individual working very hard obtaining said info! And I must say he was there all day working! It was good running into you MH. I do have photos I could contribute.

I did, not here in the photo but earlier in the morning on hollywood Blvd. I obviously made a big impression on you Matt  I was there with my wife and two boys, we were headed to American Idol.

My wife made the cut and performed at one of the prelims but did not make it to the final. My son also was interviewed, etc for Idol but was not chosen to perform. At least he got some sweet Fast Passes!

Matt, this is great. I tried to do this last year, but once a year just isn't enough time to get all the information needed. I do have some stuff that I will be happy to pass on to you.

If you are planning on being there during the next few weeks to work on this, I will most likely see you. I had also planned on doing some interviews. I have a great bio of Fellini. And I have catch phrases from others. I've been doing some collecting. I'll get it all together, but I may not get it to you until after my disney trip (since I'm leaving in a few days.) Sorry, I had really wanted to work on this more, but my attentions had been diverted by Lowell's senior year with the theater (busy doing all the photos and editing for the school).

This is from Flavio Fellini:

Flavio Fellini , Film Director and Cinematic Visionary

"No pay check is teeny - not when you work for Flavio
Fellini"

"When its hot enough for a Bikini its hot enough for
Flavio Fellini"

"There's more than good looks under this beanie
, there's the cinematic vision of Flavio Fellini"

and there are many more tag lines following this
pattern.

Fellini hails from Italy and he left against the wish
of his dear sainted mother who wanted him to stay home
to tend to the Vineyards. He still fondly recalls the way
mom's mustache would be tickled by the cool Italian
evenings. He come to America to follow his dream and
now he is the Biggest thing in Hollywood. He a Giant,
He's huge. He was a nothing when he arrived but now
he offers the 5 words of advice to others so one day
they too can be a big as Flavio Fellini. Those 5
words : ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET

Flavio is seemingly very self assured and egotistic.
Convinced of his dashing good looks and European charm
he has no idea that his formidable size is not
considered sexy in the States. He has countless ex
wives he seldom mentions and often forget the final
tally, yet he lives for love and passion and the
Italian way. Proud of his adopted home America , he
still holds true to his Italian roots. He falls in
love instantly dozens of times each day and no new
love is any less perfect than the one before or after.

Flavio dresses a little like Shrek in Green and a
plaid scarf. He sometimes carries a mirror to gaze at
himself. He is perpetually working on his new classic
film, "Cannoli is to Love Me"

His young nephew Frederico wants to follow in Flavio's
footstep but the boy has wild idea that would never
work in the cinema. He has what seems to be akin to a
sibling rivalry with fellow Italian Film Director
Alberto Dante.

Matt,

I posted the following message on the Streetmosphere yahoo website, which I help with. There hasn't been much activity on the site these days, but hopefully this will help spark things up again.

Hi all,

I have been a member of the Studios Central forum. Everything you ever wanted to know about the Stuios and members who love it.

Matt, the webmaster (and he is a master) has justed started a dedicated section for the COH. COH cast members may have seen him around doing character interviews. I started to do that last year but didn't get very far. Anyway, the COH have a great fan base and why not do some PR work here. If Disney won't do it, the fans will. So for any COH actor who would like to just give a short bio and your catch phrase, that would be great. We would love to see all the actors represented.

If you would like you can send me a private message to queenofthehouse@comcast.net

If you would like to hand me the info, Lowell and I will be visiting from Aug 9 to Aug 18. Can't wait to be there.

Check out the start of the Studios Central Streetmosphere webpage (the start). Click on each photo for more information.

http://www.studiosce...ns-of-hollywood

Thanks,
Maureen

Thanks for the information Maureen  I've added that biography to Flavio's page and if you can get me more info on Babs and Madeline, I can add them as well (look at any of the pages I have for what info I need).

I didn't recognize her from the picture, since the photo is so dark and shadowed. Thanks for letting me know.
