just got this from the All Ears Newsletter this week

Quote

... from AllEars® Team Member Linda Mac, who was roaming around the recently renamed Disney's Hollywood Studios the other day: The Studio Catering Company will close at the end of this month to install fryers. All traces of the Flatbread Grill are gone. They have replaced the kid's flatbread with mac and cheese. I was told the sauce was made with cream cheese. The Caesar wrap is now whole wheat instead and there's no more quartered flatbread in the Greek salad. By the way, the dressing is now olive and feta instead of lemon oregano. Over at the ABC Commissary, there are no more Vegetable Noodle Stir Fry or Tabouleh Wraps. An Asian salad has been added instead, and the kid's stir fry has been replaced with a ham and cheese wrap with lettuce, tomato and mayo.

Thanks for posting this.

The menu at Studio Catering Co. has just gone down hill since it reopened a few years ago now with that new flat bread menu.

I liked the veggie stir fry at ABC, sorry to see it go. Linda neglected to mention the funny names each of the dishes also received at ABC...

That's sort of a pity. Prior to the "not-flatbread" menu change, that was our favorite CS at the studios. Hopefully it won't just convert straight over to the usual hamburger/chicken strips/hot dog menu that's becoming ubiquitous.

I might have to try the Mombo Combo in a few weeks when I go down :-)

I am starting to get to that point where you start to become useless at work because your head is already in the clouds with Mickey and the Gang

It looks like it's headed that way. Unique food is darn near hard to find in any of the parks (minus World Showcase), mostly because I feel many guests are too afraid to try new foods.

that's too bad -- we really liked ABC Commissary because of the variety of choices! Joey even PICKED the kids veggie stir fry. But I'm sure we'll give the new choices a try.

Nice reflection in the photo Matt!

Clever names. Am I the only one that thinks they ran of ideas when they came up with the "All My Children Strawberry Parfait"? LOL.
