I hope this just a design for an AP T-Shirt, because I wanted something "fresher" for the logo. Look at how the prominent characters of each brand have been (some well over and many under) used in the previous 10 logos.

Mickey: 9 (01-10 excluding 08)
Vader: 4 (04,05,06,07)
Yoda: 3 (03,06,09)
R2D2: 2 (02,07 background)
Boba Fett: 1 (10)
Donald: 1 (08)
Minnie: 1 (07)
Stortroopers: 1 (08)
C3P0, Chebacca, Grand Moff Tarkin, Han Solo, Obi-Wan, Princess Leia: 1 each (07 background)

If this logo turns out to be the overall one, make it 10 for Mickey and 5 for Vader, even if we ignore the characters that have been featured, we're still without Goofy, Pluto, Luke, any Disney character outside the big 5, and a plethora of SW characters including every single character original to the prequels or clone wars. That's right, not one character featured was created after 1980.

This isn't to say that the designs have been poorly made or even ill-chosen, I'm just looking for some variety as a whole.

I was sorta looking for them to incorporate Star Tours into Logo some how. Saber duels will sell T'shirts and other stuff. I am now anxious to get a better look at this before I make too many comments on it as the LOGO.

Now that we know that it is in fact The Logo, I feel like they didn't really give it much thought. Sort of like "we need a logo, we have Mickey and Vader, let's have them dueling and that's it"
And the celeb line up is pretty boring as well.
