Osborne Lights 2011 Opening Ceremonies

Last night I arrived in Hollywood Studios just in time to catch the opening ceremonies for the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights. This is probably my favorite holiday event that Disney holds every year. It's one the only things left in WDW that truly makes me feel like I'm a little kid again. It reminds me of when I was young my family would drive to Lake Lanier where they had a scenic route you would drive along, filled with lights, that led to a holiday village.

There was a group of guests there to celebrate the Osborne family, with the tragic passing of Jennings Osborne this year. The lights haven't changed much, but it still holds that holiday magic that Jennings created. It is definitely not to be missed if you're coming to Disney World for the holidays.
