I've stoped going to AMC24, I think it's in need of new carpets and seats, it just smells weird to me, I prefer going to The Loop Regal Cinema, it's about 10 min from DTD, closer to my house.
Por favor mantenganse alejados de las puertas

I agree, Yuli... both are about the same distance from my house but parking at the Loop is MUCH closer than DD's... (and I'm still boycoting DD for closing the Adventurers Club...)

How interesting that this comes at a time when a certain store right next store is closing soon. Said store has plenty of room for, heck, two IMAX rooms.

Virgin megastore... It would be a perfect size/location for IMAX!

Ya!!! You could probibly fit 2 theaters in there! IMAX would be great for DTD, especially with all of the new 3D movies that Disney*Pixar is coming out with!

Though this is a cool idea, I can't imagine myself spending any time there.

It's hard to justify going to an IMAX movie, one I could see in Iowa, when I could be spending that time at the parks or at my hotel, or doing something else unique to Disney World.

Do we really think they are going to use the Virgin Megastore space for an IMAX? I would have thought they would have converted 2 of the existing theaters to one IMAX.

Seems logical for them to do it that way. Lose two of their biggest theaters? Doubtful. Not to mention they would have the tear the roof down and extend the screens upward to get the screens set right. Using the Virgin building, seems that they'd have room to put two theaters in there.

I heard that the virgin megastore will be the site for it. I'm still mourning this, even though expensive I'm like browsing in that store. I'm going to really miss the Megastore letters spelled at the top... But I guess it's the best for the west side. Now their lineup includes Cirque De Soliel, Disney Quest, House of Blues, Characters in Flight, IMAX and AMC, and Planet Hollywood. Now I think that section and marketplace are complete..... Can we please help Pleasure island now.
