I was wondering what the cheapest prices are for Ultimate APs. We've thought about getting them, and I was wondering where they would be cheapest.

I think they might be a few dollars cheaper if you get them elsewhere but Disney offers its own discount if you buy from their website(as opposed to at the park). Overall, I doubt the savings are much to jump up and down about but things like tax and/or shipping might be worth going elsewhere.

APs are generally cheaper if you use them for more than a week as opposed to the Park Hoppers, right?

Yeah, pretty much.
If you go to all 4 parks, they're up to $54.75 a pop...without tax.
So you're already well over $200 and all you've done is go to the 4 parks one time each.
If you buy the APs, they've pretty much already paid for themselves in the first use.
Even if you only go like 3 times out of the year, it's still a better deal getting an AP, b/c it will have paid for itself in the first visit!

The cutoff point where you start to "make" money on AP's is around 6/7 days if memory serves me correctly.

For out of state Premium Annual Pases is about $520. This is the do all AP ticket. If you plan on visiting at least 6 days at some point through the year it is worth it. You can get great discounts on hotels, tours, food, all the little extra things (like mini golf, boat rentals etc). It is one of the few tickets you can buy onine and there is no additional discount. It is good for a year from the date you pick it up at the WDW gates. The renewal rate is $50-75 cheaper.
