Our 1 Year Anniversary
Posted 21 April 2003 - 08:57 AM
We've grown in a year from just myself as a moderator on these boards to 4 moderators, to whom I owe a great deal of grattitude for their hard work over the months. Regardless of when they became a moderator, these select individuals have taken time out of their day daily to help out on the site. Without them, this site would not be possible. Thank you Josh, Leslie and Jim.
I'm also happy to say that in our one year of existence, we've continued a pledge of mine to keep this site 100% free of advertisements. I don't make a dime off this site and don't plan on doing so in the future. Unlike many sites on the Internet today, I've tried my best to keep MGMStudios.Org free of banner ads, premium memberships, popup ads or any other form of advertising. We're dedicated to bringing the best information without the annoyance of ads.
We've seen the site grow leaps and bounds beyond what we started out with. Traffic to the site is up for the third straight month in a row and April is looking good as well. I'm glad to see the site do so well and can't wait to see what the next year brings us.
Thank you to everyone for making it such a great year!

When I joined this board, I was the 10th member. Since then, 185 people have joined, bringing us five members shy of 200. It's crazy when I think about it.
You know, without this board, I never woulda even met people like Jillian, or Jackie, or Candace, or Josh or Jim or David....wait....I'm missing someone there, aren't I......
Matt. Without this, none of us woulda met him. And I'm damn glad I was suffering WDW withdrawl and that I did that search on Yahoo which brought me to this site. Matt, you're one of my best friends and I love you to death. I know I pick on you a lot, and I can be not too nice sometimes, and you put up with that. Thank you.

Leslie, funny you mention this. That is exactly how I found the site. I was searching (not on Yahoo though) for stuff on Disney and started searching each park individually.
