On this date in 1989, the Disney-MGM Studios officially opened its gates to the public and the greatest theme park in Walt Disney World was born.  Hard to imagine how much would have changed in the following 23 years, but today, Disney's Hollywood Studios celebrates its opening and I can't help but take a look back at the Studios' beginning.
