A couple years ago, I got the opportunity to tour the Disney Wedding Pavillion at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa with some friends. At the age of 20, I was in no way looking to plan my special day any time soon, but it was still very interesting to learn all the different aspects that go into planning a Disney wedding, from the florist to the chef and caterers to all the different venues where you can tie the knot.
However, the thing that hooked me was something listed as “Themed Entertainment”. We've gotten word that two new "NextGen" initiatives are being undertaken by Walt Disney World at Disney's Hollywood Studios. NextGen is the colloquial term for the anticipated (but not officially confirmed) next generation guest experience in Walt Disney World.
From time to time Walt Disney World changes the prices and menus of its restaurants. Here are a summary of the changes from the last time we looked. The big change is Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano has changed from a separate lunch and dinner menu to an all-day menu, becoming the last table service restaurant in Disney's Hollywood Studios to go to an all-day menu.
For those planning on attending Star Wars Weekends 2012, we now know who will be hosting this year's event. Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series) and James Arnold Taylor (voice of Obi Wan Kenobi from Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series) will reprise their roles as hosts for this year's event.
Specifically, Taylor will be the official celebrity host of Star Wars Weekends while Eckstein will be the official celebrity host of the "Behind the Force" show that has taken place during Star Wars Weekends over the past few years.
Both Taylor and Eckstein have become fan favorites among those who enjoy Star Wars Weekends...
