As we reported back in August, Disney has rolled out free WiFi internet access to its guests at Disney's Hollywood Studios as of yesterday.
Guests can now log in with their wifi enabled smartphones, tablets or other devices to access the Internet while visiting the park. Guests must accept Disney’s terms of service in order to access the free wi-fi service.
Disney's Hollywood Studios is the third theme park in Walt Disney World to offer free wifi, following the Magic Kingdom and Epcot which began offering wifi earlier this summer.

Disney announced that it will add 1000 new seats to the Hollywood Hills Ampitheater, which is the home of the nightly spectacle show Fantasmic!.

It appears the extra seating will go where the standing room only areas are, which may put in jeopardy the dessert party area that is available for private parties. In addition, while new benches are being added, the seating capacity remains the same since the new benches replace the standing room.
No dates yet have been announced when the new seating will be available.

According to the official Walt Disney World website, the scheduled refurbishments for the Backlot Tour and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure have been extended.
They will now both be closed through November 16, 2012. Both of these refurbishments will begin on November 1. No official word on what these refurbishments are for, but given the short nature of the refurbishment duration, it's likely these closures are merely for general maintenance.
Thanks to our friends at StitchKingdom for the update.

Walt Disney World surprised its guests last week by announcing free WiFi internet access was coming to its parks starting with the Magic Kingdom. Disney also announced its other parks would get free WiFi later this year.
We're hearing that Disney is working on addiing WiFi for guests at Disney's Hollywood Studios, which could be live as soon as late September 2012.
The current project to add WiFi as part of the park's overall NextGen enhancements is slated to wrap up on September 25, 2012 and that could mean guests could see WiFi in late September or early October.
