Today at Disney's Hollywood Studios, large "boxes" have appeared in front of the entrances to the Tower of Terror and Star Tours. Not sure what signifigance they have (if any), but wanted to pass the photos along.

The rumored xPASS, which is the update to FASTPASS that is allegedly coming to Walt Disney World perhaps in 2013, has been the subject of lots of speculation and today we have word from JimHillMedia.com which attractions at Disney's Hollywood Studios are going to be included as part of xPASS.

In an effort to assist Walt Disney World guests that have special dietary needs, the Hollywood Brown Derby at Disney's Hollywood Studios is experimenting with a new interactive menu that is being tested starting today.
From February 22 through 28, the new interactive menu is, "designed to provide our Guests with visibility to personalize menu choices as well as information to better guide decisions."
Guests consult the menu and a chef will come out to the table to discuss the menu, the guests' selection and the special dietary needs that are required.

Author Ridley Pearson is returning to Disney's Hollywood on March 30 to sign copies of his new book, "Kingdom Keepers V: Shell Game" at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Pearson will meet guests at the Writer's Stop on March 30 from 9:30 am – 11:30 am, where he will sign copies of the new book before its official release in stores on April 3, 2012.
Pearson was recently at Disney's Hollywood Studios for a book signing this past January.

The Disney Studios Ink & Paint Team will release Mickey’s Railroad Adventure entry into the Ink and Paint Cel series on March 17, 2012 at the Studios Animation Gallery at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
The event will take place 10 am – 1 pm and 2 pm – 5 pm. For those unable to attend the event, you may contact Walt Disney Event Services at 407-827-7600 to pre-order your cel. Artist signatures will only be available for orders placed before or on Friday, March 17 by 3:00 pm ET.
On hand for the signing will be Disney Design Group Artist Randy Noble and Disney Ink and Paint Artists: Erin Magill, Theodora M. DeLaney, David Rippberger, Lynn Rippberger and Sharon K. Vincent.

Star Wars Weekends 2012 is coming up quickly and today we've gotten our first look at the merchandise for this year's event.
This year's theme for Star Wars Weekends highlights Donald as Darth Maul, which is no surprise since The Phantom Menace is being re-released in theaters in 3D.
This year will feature two posters, one like the one above and another a smaller lenticular poster which makes Donald Duck look like he is leaping off the page.
In addition there are two other merchandise items available to preview at this time.
