I'm pleased to welcome Cory Disbrow and Adam Hansen from WDWPhotography.com as guest bloggers here on the Hollywood Studios Blog. They're talent for taking amazing photos is well known and they will be sharing some photos they've taken inside Disney's Hollywood Studios with you. Keep the drooling to a minimum (or at least wipe up after yourself) and enjoy!
Hey guys! This is Cory from WDWPhotography.com. First off, I'd like to thank Matt and the entire Studios Central team for allowing us to share some space on this great site! And for our first post, I'd like to talk about how the Cast Members at my favorite WDW attraction, The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror created some serious photographic magic for me.
Wow! We leave tomorrow for 8 glorious nights and 9 amazing days in Disney World! 'Excited' doesn't cut it! We can't wait to step into our home away from home, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas and start our next adventure!
As this is my last post before the trip, I thought I'd list the top 10 things I'm looking forward to trying/re-doing at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I'm planning to take a break from blogging while on vacation, but you can follow my live tweets starting tomorrow at @DreaminofAKV.
Now, without any further ado, here are my top 10 for this trip (in descending order):
10. Well, this isn't one of MY must-dos, but it is for my hubby, so I threw it in my list. Eating a Toluca Leg at Toluca Legs Turkey Co. on Sunset Boulevard.
9. Seeing the new Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun Parade. I know...
Too many times than I care to remember, I have heard friends and family members say they are avoiding Disney's Hollywod Studios (DHS) on their trip to Walt Disney World (WDW) because (and I quote) "there's nothing for kids there". Let's reflect on this statement, shall we?
Of course, for young children, DHS can't compete with Magic Kingdom for the fantastical attractions. Although DHS brings the movies to life, you won't find carousel-type rides as found in Dumbo the Flying Elephant, flying boats as found in Peter Pan's flight, or mine cars as found in Snow White's Scary Adventures. What you will find, however, is an opportunity to introduce your children to wonderful live performances, whether it's by the singers in Beauty and The Beast - Live on Stage or the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, the stunt drivers in Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show, or the actors in Indiana...
